Why do we fear change? President Obama brought hope when he said "Yes we can" and he emphasized the words that we all needed to hear and that was "CHANGE." We were so excited about one man bringing change that we forgot that true change can only be through one's self. We repeat the same type of relationships, stay stuck on the same jobs, fear leaving a certain type of neighborhood (despite the detriments); because we fear CHANGE. Change is inevitable whether we move or not. The question is: How do we move positively within those changes? Locking our growth behind bars because we fear failing. As Quincy Jones stated,"You can't get an 'A' if you're afraid of getting a 'F'. Time to come up with an escape plan to break from these prisons that we have allowed ourselves to become sentenced inside of.
